In a recent interview with Vogue, actress Sobhita Dhulipala shared how meeting Naga Chaitanya transformed her perspective on love and life.
Before crossing paths with the actor, she had decided to keep her life rooted in Mumbai and avoid pursuing a relationship within the film industry. However, her outlook shifted after getting to know Naga Chaitanya.
Describing him as "balanced, optimistic, and clear-minded," Sobhita expressed admiration for his grounded nature.
"Until I met Naga Chaitanya, I never imagined he would be such a humble person. Even if he spends two hours cleaning his bike, he is completely satisfied because he loves it so much. He finds happiness in dedicating himself fully to someone or something," she shared.
She also highlighted his unwavering positivity, saying, "Even when life presents disappointments and challenges, he always chooses to see the bright side."
Sobhita pointed out how Naga Chaitanya's response to the success and failure of his recent films, Thandel and Custody, reflected his optimistic nature.
"He reacted the same way, whether Thandel was a success or Custody received negative reviews," she noted.
Recalling a memorable moment, Sobhita shared how she discovered that Naga Chaitanya was following her on social media.
"While scrolling through 'Ask Me Anything' questions, I noticed someone asking why I wasn’t following Chai Akkineni. I was surprised. I checked his profile and saw that he was following only 70 people — including me. That made me a little happy, so I followed him back," she revealed.
Their conversations soon began over shared interests, particularly food.
"I started seeing his posts in my feed, especially about sushi. That caught my attention. I sent him a message, and from there, it continued. Eventually, in April 2022, Naga Chaitanya came to Mumbai for a lunch date," she added.
Sobhita’s candid revelations offer a glimpse into the beginning of their bond, shaped by shared moments and mutual admiration.
