The mystery behind Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu sporting a ring on his index finger of the left hand has finally been unravelled.
Naidu himself has given a clarification on this “ring” development. When some party leaders brought to his notice about the reports doing rounds in the media about his latest “superstition” of wearing a ring, he said it had nothing to do with astrology or any other blind faith.
He said it is an electronic device in the shape of a ring which he is wearing to get alerts about his health condition.
“There is a chip inside in the ring and it will convey messages to the doctors whenever there is something alarming about my health,” he said.
The doctors monitor the health of Naidu through remote method, based on the messages sent by the chip which receives signals whenever there are any fluctuations in blood sugar levels, nervous issues and even hypertension-related issues.
Some people wear this chip on the shoulders and some others in the form of a watch. But Naidu was advised to wear it in the form of a ring.
“I don’t believe in superstitions. I believe in my hard work. I am getting good response from the people and I am confident of bringing the party to power,” the TDP chief said.
