Sundeep Kishan pinned many hopes on his maiden Pan India project Michael to provide him a blockbuster.
Although the movie which carried encouraging reports before the release got good openings. The talk on slow and serious narrative had the huge impact on box office collections.
Although the movie provided losses to a few distributors in few areas, overall, it’s a safe venture for the producers and few other buyers.
The film directed by Ranjit Jeyakodi was made on a budget of 20 Cr, which includes the print and publicity cost. Non-theatrical rights of all languages alone fetched 22 Cr to the makers.
Had the movie received a positive talk post its release, it would have become a big hit for all the expectations it carried. In fact, Sundeep was highly appreciated for his makeover and performance.
Since the theatrical rights for all the areas were sold for reasonable prices, distributors didn’t face big losses.
Bharath Chowdary and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao bankrolled the project which featured Divyansha Kaushik as its female lead and Vijay Sethupathi in a special role.
The movie will have its digital premieres on Aha from 24th of this month.
