Popular singer Madhu Priya has been receiving obscene and threatening calls from unidentified guys.
Madhu Priya has filed a complaint via e-mail to the cybercrime police of Hyderabad.
She informed the police that she is also receiving blank calls and handed over the said numbers to the police.
The cybercrime police have forwarded the case to the SHE-teams, a special branch of Hyderabad police that deals with crimes of eve-teasing and harassment against women.
A case has been booked on the sections of IPC 509 and 354B. Madhu Priya’s recent song “He Is So Cute” in “Sarileru Neekevvaru” went viral.
