Even before its theatrical release, the film has already recovered 80% of its budget, thanks to non-theatrical revenue streams, including digital, satellite, and music rights.
According to a Pinkvilla report, producer Sajid Nadiadwala has secured nearly ₹165 crore from these deals, with potential for further gains depending on the film's box office performance.
Breakdown of Sikandar’s Non-Theatrical Revenue
As per reports, Netflix has acquired the streaming rights of Sikandar for a base price of ₹85 crore. If the film crosses ₹350 crore at the box office, the OTT deal could go up to ₹100 crore.
Zee has secured the satellite rights for ₹50 crore, while Zee Music Company has bought the music rights for ₹30 crore.
Overall, the non-theatrical revenue for Sikandar currently stands between ₹165-180 crore, with final numbers dependent on its theatrical success.
Budget and Production Costs
Mounted on a grand scale, Sikandar has a production cost of ₹180 crore, with an additional ₹20 crore spent on P&A (Prints & Advertising), bringing the total budget to ₹200 crore. However, Salman Khan’s acting fee has not been disclosed.
