Recently, one of her statements was taken out of context, and now, she has come forward to clarify her stance.
During a fan meet and greet in Chennai, Shruti spoke about how actresses have been performing dance sequences in snow for years, and it is extremely challenging.
She also requested filmmakers to portray women in a more realistic way, a sentiment shared by several actresses in the past. However, some sections of the media blew her statement out of proportion.
Shruti clarified that she has always spoken about her experiences and given her opinions on her life.
While she appreciates the free sharing of opinions on social and mainstream media, she finds it hilarious that something she and many other artists have spoken about before would be so exaggerated today.
She further explained that she is someone who likes to joke around and speak about relevant matters in a lighter vein, and troublemakers cannot change her personality.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time that her statements have been taken out of context.
Previously, Shruti was attacked for not attending an event due to health reasons.
