After a meeting with Pawan Kalyan at the actor-politician's Mangalagiri party office, filmmaker Harish Shankar hinted that future Pawan Kalyan films might be shot in Mangalagiri.
With Pawan Kalyan embarking on a bus tour, producers are considering relocating the shooting to Andhra Pradesh for smoother operations.
If the shootings are indeed moved to Mangalagiri, it would benefit the Andhra Pradesh film industry and should be welcomed.
However, the question remains: Is it realistically feasible for the producers of "OG" and "Ustaad Bhagat Singh" to relocate their extensive production plans to Mangalagiri, or is it merely a gimmick?
Pawan Kalyan initiated work on his comeback film "Vakeel Saab" after a major setback in the 2019 assembly elections.
Although he could have stayed in Hyderabad for the shoot, Pawan Kalyan opted to hire a private flight from Vijayawada to participate in the filming of "Vakeel Saab" on a daily basis, even when there were no elections.
But now, he intends to shift the shooting location to Mangalagiri instead of staying in Hyderabad.
Let us hope that he remains committed to his objective and contributes to the growth of the Andhra Pradesh film industry.
We can only hope that it does not turn out to be another publicity stunt.
