The film that pulled the maximum footfalls in the recent past is 'Pushpa' as per the records from the theaters in the two Telugu states. RRR stands in position-2 while KGF2 occupies the third place.
In spite of this, RRR could make double the collection of Pushpa owing to the specially hiked ticket prices.
KGF2 also could make slightly more collection than that of Pushpa as the tickets were sold according to the revised prices by the government.
Radhe Shyam, Bheemla Nayak, Akhanda and Sarkaru Vaari Paata could pull almost the equal number of foot falls (nearly half to that of Pushpa) but the gross collections varied as per the ticket prices.
So, technically, Pushpa stands out to be the highest audience puller in the recent times. It needs to be checked if the downfall in footfalls can be attributed to the raise in ticket prices.
But ultimately film makers and exhibitors need only the high collection than the footfalls. So, the saga continues.
