Producer Srinivasaa Chitturi has been making high budget entertainers and his latest production Custody with Naga Chaitanya is set for release in a couple of days.
The producer says he worked with Tamil directors, since all the Telugu directors were occupied with other projects.
"Everyone has two or three movies. I wanted to do a film with Venkat Prabhu since he made Gambler. I like his screenplay and way of thinking."
He affirms the movie Custody will have emotions and entertainment that the Telugu audience likes.
"There is entertainment even in serious sequences. I really like the way the director has mixed these two. It will have raw and intense elements for the Tamil audience as well."
All the movies produced so far by the producer were the highest budget for the respective stars.
"I have twenty years of experience in film production. With that experience, I am doing what is needed for the story. I'm happy with the outcome and business of Custody."
The makers initially considered the title Shiva for the movie.
"Custody is remembered in Naga Chaitanya's career like how Shiva was remembered in Nagarjuna's career. The characters will also be remembered forever. Each character is designed in a unique way."
The movie will be high on action. Particularly, the underwater sequence is said to be one of the major attractions.
"The underwater sequence will be first-of-its-kind for the Telugu audience. We shot the episode for 20 days."
Srinivasaa Chitturi is hopeful of Custody doing well in Telugu and Tamil.
