Sharwanand had tried everything to score a hit with “Sreekaram” and come out from the compounding problems arisen out of series of flops. He sought the help of his good friend Ram Charan for publicity.
Charan requested his father Megastar Chiranjeevi to attend the pre-release event of “Sreekaram” and also requested Telangana IT minister KTR to grace an event in Hyderabad.
These events have created a positive impact before the film’s release. However, the publicity blitzkrieg has not translated into collections. The film has completed its first week run with heavy losses.
“Sreekaram” is another flop in Sharwanand’s career, but it fairly had a better performance than the previous movies.
Reliable sources say he is now looking for new ideas to promote his next films. Sharwanand needs success immediately. He has lined up three more releases later this year.
