Sivakarthikeyan’s Mahaveerudu will be hitting the screens on the 14th of this month. Sekhar Kammula, Adivi Sesh, Anudeep and few others graced the event as special guests.
Director Ashwin said that he was supposed to remake Adivi Sesh’s Kshanam in Tamil, before Mandela, but it didn’t materialize. He stated that the movie will equally appeal to the Telugu audience.
Adivi Sesh called Sekhar Kammula as his guru and Suneil Narang and Bharah Narang as family. He revealed how friendly Sivakarthikeyan spoke with him when they first met at a wedding.
“Sivakarthikeyan is a big star with a big heart. He’s soon making his Telugu as well as Hindi debut. I’m a fan of his work. The common factor is two of us didn’t have a film background. When I first saw Mandela, I thought I would work with him,” said Sesh.
Sivakarthikeyan thanked all the guests and stated that he loved Happy Days and Fidaa of Sekhar Kammula. He made an interesting statement that he will work with Sesh.
“Sesh, get the script and everything ready, I’m waiting to work with you. You’re very talented. I’m sincerely waiting for Goodhachari 2. Mahaveerudu is a fantasy film. It will give you a different experience in theatres. Ashwin is a brilliant director. Sunil is a good human being. Aditi is multi-talented. Arun made the movie passionately. Asian Suneil sir is a Don of cinema. There is a big surprise in the movie. The team will reveal it in 3 to 4 days.”
