Surender Reddy is yet to make his next project official, but it is widely speculated in the media that he is doing his next with Akkineni Akhil.
Interestingly, there is no update about who will bankroll this project yet.
Bunny Vas who is producing Akhil’s Most Eligible Bachelor is a good friend of Surender, but he has multiple projects to roll post pandemic.
Hence, the project was passed on to Anil Sunkara, who has quite a few projects in the pipeline. He has reportedly suggested 14 Reels Plus name to Surender, but they are reportedly not keen on taking up this project.
Surender’s movies are usually made on a very high budget and this is not going to be any different. But Akhil is yet to prove his mettle as a crowd pulling star.
Looks like producers have reservations about this combination as it involves big risk. Producers may come forward if Surender agrees to make it under Rs 30 Cr.
