Saripodhaa Isn't A Weekend Film: Nani

Nani’s Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is expected to make bigger business on day three than on day one, and the bookings indicate the same. The film’s team addressed the media today to share their happiness for the initial response.

Director Vivek Athreya thanked Nani for believing in him. “When I narrated the story, I didn't realize the potential it had that day. I understood it only after the film’s release. The trust Nani has in me is even greater than the trust I have in myself. When I told him half beard idea to present the character with a split personality, he immediately gave his nod.”

He also gave clarity about the length. “There are many characters in the movie, and I felt the length is perfect for the movie. We didn’t receive any negative feedback about length.”

Nani stated that he was sleepless for more than 20 days. “We didn’t have proper sleep before the release due to the stress and promotional activities, whereas we are sleepless even after release due to the excitement. I’m happy to see housefull boards everywhere, despite heavy rains. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is not a weekend film. It will have a long run.”

Nani also affirmed that like the audience he also enjoyed SJ Suryah’s performance in the movie. He also revealed that the success event will be on September 5th.
