Saripodhaa, An Ordinary Man's Shiva Thandavam: Nani

Saripodhaa, An Ordinary Man's Shiva Thandavam: Nani

Natural Star Nani has been the most bankable star with an impressive success rate, and he is strengthening his market with each movie. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is his next outing.

In an exclusive interview with us, the actor affirms that he is happier to see his directors flourish than to focus on his own career growth.

Nani also asserts that he is successful because he is the sole decision-maker regarding his scripts and movies.

Nani says he believed in Vivek Athreya’s potential.

“I heard the story three months after the release of Dasara. We had discussed doing a movie together after Ante Sundaraniki, and he narrated a few other stories. However, I found the story of Saripodhaa Sanivaaram to be the most exciting.”

Regarding his character in the movie, Nani reveals, “As promised to his mother, he shows his anger only on Saturdays. He writes notes on other days, and if the anger persists, he decides to confront the person. It’s an exercise in patience and understanding.”

Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh popularized the red book, but Nani says they had the idea of writing notes in a book from the very beginning.

“Before Lokesh’s book became popular, we had this idea. While Lokesh’s book was red, mine is a brown book in the movie.”

Nani makes it clear that the movie won’t have any major twists and turns, but the audience will enjoy the journey.

“It’s the story of a simple guy before he clashes with SJ Suryah’s character. But then you’ll witness the Shiva Thandavam after he writes the name of this arrogant police officer in his book. The movie will be engaging throughout and provide a great cinematic experience.”

Nani also spoke about his movies with Srikanth Odela and Sujeeth in the interview.
