Venkatesh's Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, directed by Anil Ravipudi, had another stellar day at the box office, grossing 30 crore worldwide on its fifth day.
In fact, Day 5 collections surpassed those of both Day 3 and Day 4, bringing the total worldwide gross for the first five days to a remarkable 161 crore.
The film is also having a dream run overseas. Interestingly, the Day 5 collections were higher than those on Day 1.
Day 5 marked the highest single-day earnings for the film in North America, indicating the movie's blockbuster success.
With over $1.8 million and counting in its 5-day run, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is expected to cross the 2-million mark by the end of the weekend. Half million is on cards for the movie on 6th day.
Sankranthiki Vasthunnam breached the full-run collections of F2 in just 5 days, and is set to enter the 200 Cr club. It’s a big jackpot for all the buyers.
Exceeding the expectations, Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi duo delivered another blockbuster hit.
The film is expected to continue its strong box office performance on Day 6, given that it’s Sunday.
