Talented Director Sampath Nandi is celebrating his Birthday today. He is one director who makes films on perfect commercial meter appealing to the masses.
His debut film, Emaindhi Ee Vela starring Varun Sandesh was a big hit and he surprised by getting to direct Ram Charan in his second film, Racha which is also a blockbuster.
His commercial treatment of Emaindhi Ee Vela apparently impressed Megastar Chiranjeevi.
Racha was the biggest hit in Ram Charan's career back then and also presented Ram Charan very appealing to the masses. He completed a hattrick of hits with Ravi Teja's Bengal Tiger.
Even for films like Gautam Nanda, Sampath Nandi was still appreciated by the way how he presented the lead heroes and the commercial stuffing in the films.
There were some shortcomings in the story department but he never failed as a maker.
His last film, Seetimarr was a commercial success for Gopichand.
The young director is also into production to encourage young talents. He gave the first break to Santosh Sobhan with his production venture, Paperboy. He is currently producing Odela 2 which is carrying good buzz in the trade.
The director is currently working on a crazy project with a unique genre. A big production house will be bankrolling the film.
