Samantha has been keeping herself away from public appearances since the flop of “Jaanu” that hit the screens in February this year.
After the unimpressive box-office result, she started staying at home, and then the lockdown was announced.
During this lockdown, she has avoided giving interviews to the media as well.
Other than chatting with her fans on social media, she completely shut herself from the media and public space.
Insiders say she may not come out on to the movie sets in the remaining months this year.
Although she has signed a film with Nayanthara in Tamil, the film is unlikely to begin anytime soon as the corona outbreak is more prevalent in Tamilnadu. She has not signed any new Telugu film.
Hence Samantha may not return to work in 2020. She may begin shoots next year. Meanwhile, she is spending her time with her husband Naga Chaitanya more.
Chaitanya is also under home quarantine as the shooting of his film, “Love Story”, has been stalled due to lockdown.
