Sam CS, a young and talented Tamil music composer, took to social media to express his gratitude to Mythri Movie Makers, Allu Arjun, and director Sukumar for the opportunity to provide the background score for Pushpa 2, set to release on December 5, 2024.
On X.com, he shared his excitement, stating that he enjoyed crafting a "terrific score" for the intense fight scenes and the climax of this pan-Indian project.
Meanwhile, the film’s official music director, Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), has been asserting that every part of the movie features his soundtrack. At the pre-release event held in Yousufguda, director Sukumar thanked DSP for enhancing the film, especially the "climax sequences," with his music.
This has led to confusion about the film's music credits. Adding to the mix, earlier, Thaman had also mentioned contributing to the project.
While the team has been publicly praising one another during promotions, it appears there are underlying tensions and a lack of harmony within the group regarding their respective roles in the film's music composition.
