Bollywood has been drowning in flops for a while, with only a few rare hits like Stree 2, Chhaava and Skyforce offering some relief.
But just when the industry started catching its breath, Salman Khan and AR Murugadoss delivered a colossal disaster with Sikandar, embarrassing Bollywood on a pan-India level.
The film’s storyline is beyond ridiculous. A villain kills the hero’s wife. The hero, honoring her last wish, donates her organs.
Upon discovering this, the villain, believing that the woman he killed still "lives on" through her donated body parts, decides to eliminate all the organ recipients.
And so, the hero, deeply attached to his wife’s donated organs, fights to protect these strangers. Seriously — who came up with this nonsense?
Choosing Salman Khan for such an emotional, teary-eyed role was a terrible decision. Who wants to see Bhai sobbing on screen?
Like Shankar, Murugadoss seems to have lost his golden touch, delivering three consecutive disasters — Sarkar, Darbar, and now Sikandar.
Fans and critics alike are calling it one of Salman’s weakest performances, questioning if it’s time for him to retire.
Even Rashmika Mandanna, despite a well-written role, couldn’t save this sinking ship. Kajal Aggarwal’s decision to be part of this mess is equally baffling.
With Sikandar crashing at the box office, Bollywood’s struggle with big-budget films continues.
