Megastar Chiranjeevi’s GodFather pre-release event has been organized in a grand manner in Anantapur with a huge turnout for the function. The crowd was unmoved, though it was raining during the function.
Superstar Krishna’s wife and Mahesh Babu’s mother Indira Devi passed away and Chiranjeevi expressed his condolences to the family members. He then made an interesting statement that it’s raining, whenever he’s coming to Rayalaseema.
“I feel the rain as a positive omen. I doubted whether I would make it for the event or not, as I was shooting in Vizag till 2 PM. I came on a special flight, so as not to disappoint you.”
Megastar said Ram Charan is the reason behind him doing Lucifer’s remake.
“Charan opined that Lucifer’s remake suits my image. He also suggested Mohan Raja’s name for the project. Mohan Raja thought Salman Khan would be the right choice for the crucial role. Charan called Sallu Bhai and he immediately gave his nod, without even listening to the story.
RB Choudary, along with NV Prasad, came forward to co-produce the movie, when Charan wanted another support for the production. Nayanthara’s acceptance is the first step to success. It’s a challenging character. Satya Dev played the antagonist. I’ve seen his potential. There’s dynamism and uniqueness in his films. He’s a hidden gem. Sunil’s is a mysterious character. Puri Jagannadh played a journalist.
Salman bhai with his style, grace, masculine looks, and fights took the charge in the last portions. Thaar Maar song will stun you for sure. Thaman who won a national award took the movie to next level with his BGM. It’s not a musical film and there’s no big scope for music. But Thaman made it a musical film. His work will give you goosebumps.
My brother and friend Akkineni Nagarjuna’s The Ghost is releasing on the same day. I hope it will become a big hit. Young boy Ganesh’s Swathimuthyam is also releasing on the day. That should also become a hit. When big and small films become hits, then the industry will flourish.
Thaman wanted to make a song on a crucial fight choreographed by Ram-Lakshman masters. Hits and flops are not in our hands, but I feel bad for disappointing the audience, last time. GodFather is the answer for it.”
