The production house behind “Salaar” has officially announced that Mythri Movie Makers has bagged the distribution rights for the film for the Nizam region.
According to trade circles, Mythri agreed to pay Rs 60 crore for the Nizam rights.
Andhra's rights were sold off to various distributors for a combined price of Rs 80 crore. The ceded region was closed in the range of Rs 22 crore to Rs 25 crore.
Altogether, the value of the AP and Telangana is Rs 165 crore. The producer finally made a big deal after many negotiations with the distributors.
The craze for the combination of Prabhas and ‘KGF’ director Prashanth Neel is the reason for such massive theatrical business.
It is a huge risk for the distributors. But if it clicks, it is a jackpot.
