Hombale Films unveiled the much-anticipated pre release trailer for Prabhas' upcoming film, "Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire," directed by Prasanth Neel.
The film is all about two childhood friends, portrayed by Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles.
The trailer immerses the audience in the tale of two friends who eventually become each other's enemies. With a dark, dystopian theme, the trailer sets a bleak atmosphere with pervasive violence.
The narrative unfolds in Khansaar, a fictional town governed by Sultan, played by Prithviraj. Salaar (Prabhas), his friend and a skilled mechanic, is always at his beck and call, willingly taking on any task, including eliminating enemies when necessary. While their bond seems unbreakable, the trailer hints that it may not endure.
"Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire" marks the significant collaboration between the director of "KGF," Prashanth Neel, and the Baahubali star, Prabhas.
The film also features Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Tinu Anand, Eshwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, Garuda Ram, and others in key roles.
Stunt coordination is credited to Anbarivu, and Ravi Basrur composed the film's music. As a mega action-packed cinematic spectacle, "Salaar" has a runtime of 2 hours and 55 minutes.
The film received an A certificate from the censor board and is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films.
Scheduled for release on December 22, "Salaar" will be available in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
