Confusion over the release date of “RRR” will end this weekend. The makers have decided to announce the new release date. The Rajamouli directed mega epic drama will release on 12th January 2022.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Gangubai’ will be the first movie to hit the theaters in New Year 2022. Rajamouli is planning to release his movie a week later.
Rajamouli’s son Kartikeya had already informed their decision to the producers of “Sarkaru Vaari Paata”, “Acharya” and “Bheemla Nayak”.
The team of Prabhas’s “Radhe Shyam” had outrightly rejected the request of postponing their movie. So, the coming Sankranthi will see a direct fight between “Radhe Shyam” and “RRR”.
All other films will get postponed.
Rajamouli has come to this decision after much brainstorming with his team. He believes the festival time is the best period to recover the huge costs involved with the project.
In a day or two, we will get the official confirmation from the team about the new date.
