There have been several announcements and postponements with respect to the release dates of Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR.
Until yesterday there were several assumptions that the film is going to hit the screens on October 13 as announced.
Many thought that there is going to be no further postponement of the film under any circumstances. The last schedule of the film in Ukraine was also over.
But today, an inside source reveals to greatandhra exclusively that the film is set to release only for Ugadi 2022.
So, the film is not hitting in the two important seasons- the Dussehra of October 2021 and Sankranthi of January 2022. The target of RRR now is to come up as a summer release of 2022.
That's really a sigh of relief for many big films in line ready for release.
As per the reports Rajamouli has clearly indicated to the Producer's Guild that his film is not going to disturb the Sankranthi 2022 releases.
Rajamouli needs ample time in hand to pitch the film and release promotion material in an order before hitting the screens.
For this entire plan he wants enough time. Moreover, the film has to undergo a technical process to attain completeness for release.
So, RRR is a far thing now. Let us think less about it and focus on the rest of the big films now.
