Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ featuring NTR and Ram Charan as the two freedom warriors is progressing its shoot very slowly. The shoot is happening at a specially erected set in Hyderabad.
Termed as the biggest multi-starrer ever, patriotic drama doesn’t need any publicity.
Given the fact that the two biggest stars have teamed up together, one expects that the film would focus more on their star power. But writer Sai Madhav Burra dismisses such notions.
The writer of such hits as ‘Sye Raa’ and ‘Mahanati’ is writing dialogues for a Rajamouli for the first time. In a recent media interaction, Sai Madhav Burra spilled beans about the movie. He said that ‘RRR’ has a strong storyline.
“There is a fine balance in the story that Rajmouli prepared. It is a content-rich film, not a star-driven movie. There is no need to write punch dialogues or mass-appealing scenes. The material itself is powerful,” he said.
NTR will be seen as the younger version of freedom warrior Komaram Bheem while Ram Charan essays the role of young Alluri Seetharama Raju, who fought against the British.
The Rs 350-Cr budgeted period drama is produced by DVV Danayya.
