Ahead of the release of his debut movie Rowdy Boys, Ashish has revealed in an interview that his inspiration was Allu Arjun. It is to be noted that Allu Arjun released the Date Night song of Rowdy Boys.
"Allu Arjun is my inspiration. I used to dance in family events and parties. I wanted to equip myself before becoming an actor and I did acting course at Satyanand Acting Institute. Also, to gain first hand experience of filmmaking, I worked as assistant director in Kerintha film," he said.
Spilling the beans on Rowdy Boys, he said, "Engineering vs medical backdrop is the basic idea. Rowdy Boys is a two-hour enjoyable movie. I found it difficult to work on romantic scenes but pulled it off somehow."
"Devi Sri Prasad has done a very good job by giving nine extraordinary songs. Rowdy Boys is a youthful film and I am sure the audience would enjoy it," he added. Ashish said his next film will be Selfish with new director called Kashi.
Producer Dil Raju, who is the uncle of Ashish, said, "Ashish, who used to dance in our family functions, has performed very well in Rowdy Boys. Soon after he wanted to become an actor, he underwent training. I am sure he will make a mark in Rowdy Boys."
Dil Raju said their next film will have writing by Sukumar. Debutant Kashi will wield the megaphone the flick titled Selfish. Rowdy Boys joined the Sankranthi release (January 14, 2022) recently.
The movie which Anupama Parameswaran as heroine is helmed by Sree Harsha Konuganti and bankrolled by Dil Raju and Shirish by joining hands with Aditya Music.
