Robinhood, First Of Its Kind For Me: Sreeleela

Robinhood, First Of Its Kind For Me: Sreeleela

Sreeleela played the leading lady opposite Nithiin in the highly anticipated heist comedy Robinhood, directed by Venky Kudumula and produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

Initially, Rashmika Mandanna was the first choice for the role, but due to scheduling conflicts, Sreeleela stepped in.

Reflecting on how she came on board, Sreeleela shares, “After a series of releases, I had planned to take a break for my education. That’s when Venky called me. This character was something Rashmika had really liked, but because of her schedule, she couldn’t take it up. When I met her during the shoot of Pushpa, she wished me all the best. I was drawn to the role too, and that's when I decided to take it on."

Sreeleela also shares her positive experience of working with Nithiin, saying, “Nithiin is such a peaceful person. The entire team is confident about the film, and we had plenty of time to work together. I believe this film will establish a successful pairing between Nithiin and me.”

The actress promises that her role in Robinhood will bring plenty of laughs. “I’ve never done a comedy like this in my career before. Robinhood is a first-of-its-kind experience for me. It’s a hilarious, fun movie that will definitely stand out as a complete entertainer in my career.”

Sreeleela also reassures her fans that she has no plans of leaving Tollywood, which she considers her home.
