Ram Gopal Varma has been facing legal issues for quite some time, and it is known that even the police from Ongole traveled to Hyderabad and reached RGV's office last Monday.
However, the arrest, as speculated by a large section of the media, did not happen. Many assumed that the police might wait until Friday to arrest him, but even that did not occur.
As scheduled, the hearing for anticipatory bail took place today, and RGV was finally granted bail until next Monday.
Further investigation has been postponed to December 9th. This ensures that no arrests can be made meanwhile.
