Hero Sree Vishnu is hoping to continue the success streak with his next outing Swag. The film directed by Hasith Goli on People Media Factory is up for release on the 4th of this month.
Sree Vishnu reveals that the story starts in the year of 1500. “The movie explores the age-old debate of whether men are superior to women, in a tit-for-tat narrative. I have never played dual roles before, but in this film, I portray four characters. All four belong to the same dynasty, which posed a challenge in terms of how to differentiate them. Once the looks were finalized, everything came together quite well.”
The actor affirms that the female characters will also have significance in the movie. “Ritu Varma's character undergoes a significant transformation. Meera Jasmine did an incredible job portraying a character reminiscent of a mother from the 90s. The respect for women grows for everyone, after watching the movie.”
Sree Vishnu commends director Hasith Goli for presenting a complex story in an easily understandable manner. He says, “The screenplay of Swag is both engaging and clear. It maintains a simplicity that feels refreshingly original.”
He also discloses that he is doing a film under thriller genre as his next, and also an entertainer in Geetha Arts banner.
