Ashwathama and Choosi Choodangane are out in theaters now and are hoping to grab the attention of film lovers that are done with the big ticket entertainment provided by the top stars during festive season.
Ashwathama is a crime thriller with Naga Shaurya flexing his muscles and doing some heavy duty stunts. The story for the film was penned by the actor himself and it is directed by Ramana Teja. It is produced by Naga Shaurya's home banner Ira Creations.
Choosi Choodangane is a romance comedy that marks the debut of Shiva Kandukuri, son of Raj Kandukuri, who bankrolled blockbuster Pelli Chupulu. It is directed by Sesha Sindhu. A couple of songs from the film were a hit with the music lovers.
We have to see whether the small films takeover the box office from Sankranthi biggies before the February rush begins.
