Reason for No Midnight Shows for 'Kalki 2898 AD'

The film "Kalki 2898 AD," starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan under the direction of Nag Ashwin, is releasing on the 27th of this month.

Though fans expected there would be midnight shows, the makers have planned only for shows starting from 5:30 AM onwards.

When inquired why this decision was made, an insider said that the majority of the audience who post reviews on social media are youngsters who often come to midnight shows after consuming alcohol.

"Kalki" is a film that can be called the first experimental film in the Indian film industry. If these viewers find it difficult to understand with an unattentive mind, they may end up trolling the film.

So, the makers decided to release it at 5:30 AM so that the audience watches the film with a fresh mind and judges accordingly.

The insider mentioned that even "Baahubali" received negative feedback from the midnight audience, and they don't want to see that repeated with this mammoth budget film.

But what should be understood is that nothing can stop the success of the film if destined, regardless of the reviews and social media trolls.

On the whole, the prevailing talk is that the film has finally garnered the attention of the audience, and the thumping advance bookings are evidence of that.

New shows are being added in every multiplex as every show is getting booked within no time.
