Veteran producer Sravanthi Ravikishore is regarded as one of the sensible filmmakers in Telugu cinema and he has the knack of making tasteful films. He made his first Tamil film which has been titled Kida.
The film is dubbed and released in Telugu as Deepavali and it has been announced for theatrical release on the 11th of November, marking the occasion of Diwali.
The film has received praise from the audience and critics at National and International film festivals, receiving standing ovation at the International Film Festival of India, Goa and the 20th Chennai International Film Festival where it won Best Film and Best Actor awards.

'Sravanthi' Ravikishore has already sent the film for International Film Events and it got a stellar reception from there, so he is confident about the film which has been directed by RA Venkat.
