The pre-release event of Naga Shaurya’s latest flick Rangabali has been held today with directors Srikanth Odela and Tirumala Kishore gracing the occasion as special guests.
Pawan Basamsetti who is making his directorial debut with the movie thanked hero Naga Shaurya and producer Sudhakar Cherukuri for giving him the opportunity.
“In terms of heroism and emotion, you will see what real Naga Shaurya is with the movie. Sudhakar Cherukuri is the kind of producer who doesn’t worry about business equations. Pawan Kalyan fans will enjoy this movie,” said he.
Naga Shaurya stated that a person suggested to him the name of Pawan Basamsetti when he was looking for good scripts. However, he didn’t disclose the name of the person.
I and Sudhakar were planning to do a movie together for almost 2-3 years. But we wanted to do a movie that will remain to be a special one for us. We got Pawan. I was never this confident earlier. But I’m very confident about this movie. This is going to be a sure-shot blockbuster. We are going to give a good movie to the audience. I also wish this will become the biggest profit-making movie for Sudhakar.
Shaurya made an interesting statement that he had taken more than 45 takes for a scene. I acted with many senior actors. But I didn’t know what happened that day. I took more than 45 takes for a scene with Noel. Director Pawan is a genuine person. He asked me to name his daughter. I can never forget that.”
The movie is set for release on 7th of this month.
