Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor has recently secured a lease for a nearly 7,000 sq ft apartment within Trump Towers in Pune, at an annual rent of ₹48 lakh.
On September 15, the actor entered into a leave and license agreement for the rental of a 6,094 sq ft apartment situated on the 10th floor of Pune's Kalyani Nagar Trump Towers.
The lease was signed with Duro Shox Pvt Ltd, a prominent Pune-based manufacturer operating in the engineering and vehicle component industry.
According to registration documents obtained by Zapkey.com, the monthly rent amounts to ₹4 lakh, with terms stipulating an increase to ₹4.2 lakh in the second year and ₹4.41 lakh in the third year.
The Trump Towers in Pune, comprising 23 stories, were developed by Panchshil Realty under the leadership of Atul Chordia. These twin towers represent the first Trump Towers in India and offer 46 luxurious five-bedroom condominiums, featuring captivating views of the Aga Khan Palace and Joggers' Park.
The Trump Organization has licensing agreements for three additional Trump Towers properties in India, facilitated by its India representative, Tribeca Developers. These partnerships include Macrotech Developers in Mumbai, M3M Group in Gurugram, and Unimark Group in Kolkata, with the Gurugram and Kolkata projects currently in progress.
In December 2022, Donald Trump Jr., the Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization, visited Pune to commemorate the 10-year collaboration with Tribeca and announced plans for expanding their portfolio in India.
