Netflix recently released its first-ever viewership engagement report- ‘What We Watched’, which will be out twice a year.
The streaming giant disclosed rankings based on hour views for 18,000 titles and Rana Naidu starring Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati, is the most-viewed Indian title globally on Netflix.
Rana Naidu indeed is the only Indian title in the top 400 list, and the series that clocked in 463 million-hour views on the platform for the period of January to June ranked 336 globally.
It’s no less than an achievement for an Indian title, that too with Telugu stars grabbing the place in the global 400 most-viewed list.
Rana Naidu is the first web series for Venkatesh and Rana who amazed with their intense and power-packed performances.
The series directed by Suparn Verma and Karan Anshuman was released on March 10th, this year. Each episode was gripping with an engaging narrative and twists in the plot.
Fans were pleased to see Babai and Abbai sharing the screen space. They are waiting eagerly for the next season of Rana Naidu.
