Hero Ram Pothineni’s ongoing film Skanda under the direction of Boyapati Sreenu is gearing up for its theatrical release on September 15th.
He will next be teaming up with director Puri Jagannadh who provided him with a blockbuster with iSmart Shankar for its sequel titled Double iSmart.
The film’s title and release date were announced on Ram’s birthday. Today, the opening ceremony of the movie is held in Hyderabad.
The grand launching ceremony was graced by the team, alongside a few guests. For the muhurtham shot on Ram, Charmme sounded the clapboard, while Puri directed it. Ram said, "iSmart Shankar alias Double iSmart," for the first shot.
As announced by the makers, Double iSmart will go on floors from the 12th of this month.
This is going to be huge, in terms of story span and scale of making. Produced by Puri and Charmme together on Puri Connects, the sequel will be double entertaining and double action.
Double iSmart will be the highest-budgeted movie for both Ram and Puri. Ram will be presented in a never-seen-before mass character.
The movie will have a Pan India release for the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri on March 8, 2024.
