Hyderabad: Tollywood actor Ram Pothineni and Harish Shankar were set to collaborate for the first time.
During the promotional interviews for "Mr. Bachchan," Harish Shankar mentioned that he would soon present a final script to Ram Pothineni and announce their project.
However, sources say that Ram Pothineni is currently reluctant to team up with Harish Shankar.
The outcome of “Mr. Bachchan” made him realize that without a solid script, it is not wise to proceed with the collaboration.
Ram Pothineni’s recent film, “Double iSmart,” was a failure, and before that, he had several flops, including “Skanda” and "Warriorr." As a result, Ram is hesitant to take on another mass film without a strong story.
Instead, Ram Pothineni will be teaming up with Mahesh Babu P, who impressed with his narrative skills in the Anushka-starrer “Miss Shetty, Mr. Polishetty.”
