Ram Pothineni has changed his opinion on the choice of subjects he wants to do. In the past, he used to mix both class and mass movies but now his perception has changed.
The massive success of “iSmart Shankar” has made him think that people are expecting out and out mass masala movies from him.
Soon after he landed in Hyderabad from his foreign trip, Ram had a meeting with a couple of directors who narrated him stories before he left for Spain.
He told the directors to drop the stories they had narrated to him and work on mass entertainers.
The first casualty is the story of Kishore Tirumala who penned a story based on a Tamil movie.
Kishore Tirumala has made two films with Ram – “Nenu Sailaja” and “Vunnadi Okate Zindagi’. He recently made “Chitralahari” with Sai Dharam Tej.
Kishore Tirmuala is out and out class director.
Ram wants films that are in the genre of “iSmart Shankar”. The directors are now rewriting their scripts.
