With rumors spreading that films like ‘V’, ‘Nishabdham’ and ‘Aranya’ are reconsidering the release date and opt for another date, here comes an official statement from ‘iSmart Shankar’ Ram Pothineni.
He and his producers have reiterated that their film “Red” is not changing its date at all.
April 9, 2020, is the date that the makers have locked long back. “Red” will hit the screens as announced.
None of the Telugu films are going to change the date, as summer holidays are very crucial for the revenue.
With several medium-range movies are in the fray this summer, no film affords to lose the crucial period.
“Red” has become red-hot in the trade circles as he’s back in form with the massive success of “iSmart Shankar”. He is also promoting this as a “mass thriller”.
The film directed by Kishore Tirumala has closed the business in the Telugu states for nearly Rs 20 crores.
