Ram Denies Direct OTT Release

Ram Denies Direct OTT Release

Amidst the reports that an OTT company had offered Rs 20 Cr to Ram starrer ‘Red’, the actor took it to social media to narrate his version.

He didn’t deny the offer but he stressed that the film will not skip theatrical release for direct OTT streaming.

“Nope! #RAPO is not in any dilemma….in fact he’s been chilling at home following the Government’s rules on Social Distancing & Home Quarantine. ( like he’s been doing for the past 15 years or so..) & also, he’s waiting to see his fans watch #RedTheFilm on the BIG SCREEN!,” he tweeted.

He stressed that the film will hit the screens after lockdown ends.

‘Red’ has completed its all its production formalities and it was ready to hit the screens on 9th April.

No star worth his salt would dare release his movie directly on OTT because it would undermine his stardom. With Ram’s tweet, this has been confirmed.

‘Red’ is directed by Kishore Tirumala and produced by Sravanthi Ravikishore.

After delivering massive blockbuster ‘iSmart Shankar’, Ram did this film to strengthen his base among mass audiences.
