For several weeks, speculation had been building that Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi would release on his birthday next year. Now, the makers have officially confirmed it — Peddi will hit theaters on March 27, 2026.
Interestingly, Ram Charan will also be celebrating his 41st birthday on the same day, making it a double celebration for fans. The film, a rural sports drama, is being positioned as a major pan-India release.
This announcement has already started causing ripples in the industry. Nani and the team of The Paradise — who had previously announced their film’s release date as March 26, 2026—are now reportedly reconsidering their plans.
Although the regular shoot for The Paradise hasn’t yet begun, the team has been promoting the release date for months.
On March 26 this year, they even unveiled a special poster with the message “One Year to Go.” But now, with Peddi occupying the adjacent date and bringing massive buzz, it’s highly unlikely that Nani’s film can go head-to-head with Ram Charan’s big-budget project.
As a result, The Paradise is expected to reschedule its release and announce a new date soon.
Adding to the complexity, Nani recently announced a new project as a producer, to be directed by Srikanth Odela, set to begin next year.
With Odela’s previous success (Dasara) and his strong rapport with fans, it’s unlikely that either he or Nani would want to risk clashing with Ram Charan’s film and potentially upsetting the massive Mega fan base.
All signs point to a strategic shift for The Paradise, as Peddi now firmly claims the March 27 spotlight.
