Ram and Ravi Teja's Unnecessary 'Pakodi' Dialogue

Ram and Ravi Teja's Unnecessary 'Pakodi' Dialogue

"Pakkodu gurinchi, pakodeelu gurinchi pattinchukunte ikkada panulu jaragavu annaay!" This is the line that Ram Pothineni said at the end of his speech at the pre-release event of 'Double iSmart'.

He intended this to convey that while social media influencers or the film media, in general, might say something about the film, true film lovers shouldn't change their opinions.

Just a few days ago, even in the trailer of 'Mr. Bachchan', Ravi Teja delivered a dialogue: "Pani paata leni chaala mandi pakodi gaallu ide pani meeda untaaru."

The common word here is 'pakodi', and the target is gossip, social media talk, and film reviews.

But there is another angle to this theory. Some insiders say that although Ram hinted at social media, he was actually taking a jab at Harish Shankar's "Mr. Bachchan" as it entered as a competitor.

An insider said, "Ram used the word 'pakodi' referring to that film's dialogue under the guise of criticizing social media. Not just that. The Puri camp feels that Ravi Teja's pakodi dialogue (though it is part of film) is indirectly hinting at them, and hence this retort from Ram."

Whatever the case, many filmmakers feel that they have created a masterpiece and expect all positive reviews and huge box office collections. But when the pre-release atmosphere is filled with arrogance and audacity of a director; and a show-off attitude of a hero, the general audience tends to watch the film more critically and won't miss a chance to troll the negatives.

Be it heroes or directors, they have to be humble enough before the film's release, avoiding over-the-top behavior.

After all this, if the film fails due to its content, they readily blame social media and websites, without understanding the flaws in their content and behavior.
