Superstar Rajinikanth, who is nearing the completion of his upcoming Tamil film "Jailer," has already signed on for his next project, which will mark his 170th film.
Lyca Productions announced via Twitter that they will be producing the movie, which will be directed by TJ Gnanavel and is scheduled to release in 2024.
Gnanavel, who gained fame for directing the national award-winning Tamil film "Jai Bhim" starring Suriya, will direct the project, which is currently known as "Thalaivar 170."

According to reports, Rajinikanth will play the role of a Muslim police officer in the film, which is expected to start shooting soon.
