At one point, the team behind NTR's "Devara Part 1" considered moving its release date to September 27 after Pawan Kalyan's "OG" was postponed.
However, they ultimately decided against it, leaving Dulquer Salmaan's "Lucky Baskhar" to claim the "OG" date.
In an unexpected twist, superstar Rajinikanth announced that his next film "Vettaiayan" will release on October 10, directly competing with NTR's "Devara," which is also set for that date.
Both films, being pan-Indian releases, will now compete head-to-head. It remains to be seen if either will reconsider the release date.
