Rajendra Prasad Apologizes to David Warner

Veteran actor Rajendra Prasad faced heavy trolling after referring to cricketer David Warner as "vaadu " — a term considered impolite — in an inappropriate manner during the pre-release event of Robinhood.

His remarks, perceived as disrespectful, did not sit well with Warner’s fans, who criticized Prasad for using such language, especially since Warner does not understand Telugu.

In response to the backlash, Rajendra Prasad released a video statement apologizing for his words.

“I love David Warner and his cricket. He appreciates our films and enjoys my acting. I should not have addressed him that way — it was never intentional,” he said, sincerely apologizing to anyone who felt hurt by his remarks.

He also assured that he would be more mindful of his words in the future.
