SS Rajamouli, the filmmaker whose name has become synonymous with blockbusters, has admitted that “RRR” is the most-challenging film ever in his career.
When a Bollywood journalist asked him whether he is finding it a challenging task during these difficult conditions, the ‘Baahubali’ director replied, “absolutely, the most difficult film for all of us in our careers so far.”
“RRR” has NTR and Ram Charan playing freedom warriors Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sita Ramaraju respectively and it is produced by DVV Danayya with an estimated budget of Rs 350 Crore.
The mammoth period movie has been facing hurdles since its launch in various forms.
The coronavirus outbreak and the lockdown came as a big jolt to Rajamouli as he now needs to postpone the movie once again.
The film was already postponed from July 30, 2020, to Jan 08, 2021. Though Rajamouli is still hopeful of meeting the deadline of January 8, insiders say it will definitely get pushed again.
Rajamouli, however, has vehemently denied the reports that he’s changed the script during this lockdown period.
“I will not change any part of the script,” he stressed.
