SS Rajamouli, the director who has stalled the shooting of the most awaited RRR has opened up on the matters when the shooting is going to be resumed and when the release date will be.
He said, "It is very difficult to say when the release of RRR will be. I think anywhere after 6-7 months from the time of resuming the shoot".
So, from his words, we can understand that even if the shoot is resumed in December 2020, the film may tentatively hit the screens somewhere after August 2021.
So, this will be under ideal conditions, considering no issues with international travel pertaining to lockdown (as the technicians and some artists have to fly down).
Apart from this, when asked about his dream project Mahabharat, he revealed that it takes at least 7 years to start and after that he will be making it in series of 5 to 6 films in a go. He affirms that it will be a 10 year project for him.
Responding to Prabhas' Adipurush, he said that the film is coming up at the right time when the chant of Lord Ram is all pervasive with Ayodhya Bhoomi Pooja etc.
He opined that it will take Prabhas' career to the next level as it is the role of Lord Rama.
