However, a surge in the coronavirus cases across Telugu States has forced Rajamouli and his team to pull back from resuming the shoot.
The Baahubali director was worried about the delay in shoot, but he has come to terms with the situation now. He is not trying to push things and is patiently waiting for the number of reported cases to go down.
Cinematographer Senthil hinted that the filming may resume from October. The team is also not putting any deadline to finish the film.
RRR’s new release date will be decided after the shooting resumes. Apparently, it may aim for Sankranthi 2022 release as it is unlikely to finish by next summer.
