Blockbuster filmmaker SS Rajamouli and Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu are joining forces for their pan-India project #SSMB29, set to be launched on August 9th.
The makers are currently engrossed in the pre-production phase and scripting of the film, which is said to be an adventurous drama set in the African jungle.
According to reports, the film will bear resemblances to iconic superhumans like Lord Hanuman from Indian mythology.
With Mahesh Babu's birthday falling on August 9th, the film's launch is planned to coincide with this special occasion. The makers are also investing time and effort into creating pre-visualisation material for the launch.
Serious production of the film is scheduled to commence early next year.
Furthermore, recent reports indicate that Aamir Khan will not be portraying the role of an antagonist in the film, contrary to earlier speculations.
The project is backed by Tollywood producer KL Narayana and is expected to be one of the most expensive Indian films ever made.
Audiences can anticipate the film to hit theaters sometime in mid-2025.
