The raging controversy over the teaser of NTR from ‘RRR’ has put Rajamouli in an embarrassing situation.
The top director would have normally made a strong rebuttal if the objections came from the general public or any other organization. But the threatening comments are coming from BJP leaders.
Hence, Rajamouli doesn’t want to take a chance. He doesn’t want to rub the BJP on the wrong side.
Raising objections without watching the film and the context of the visual of Komaram Bheem wearing a skull cap is not acceptable.
But one must remember that even pro-BJP filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali had to go through a lot of mental tension when objections raised to the title ‘Padmavati’. Rajamouli knows very well the repercussions if he makes any statement.
So, the director is consulting his well-wishers about the steps to be taken to dissuade the controversy.
“RRR” is a tale of friendship between freedom warriors Komaram Bheem (NTR) and Alluri Sita Ramaraju. There are no pieces of evidence to prove that these two freedom warriors had met in their life time. But Rajamouli is making a fiction drama about two real freedom warriors.
